About Us
LMT SEVA—named in loving memory of my parents, Lalji and Mangala Tiwari—was born out of personal loss and a deep desire to help others. In 2021, during the devastating COVID-19 pandemic, I lost my father. Like millions of families, we experienced firsthand the pain, helplessness, and emotional toll that came with those uncertain times. From that loss came a purpose.
LMT SEVA was created to stand beside people when they needed help the most. In the early days, our mission was simple but urgent: to support families fighting COVID-19 by providing food, basic necessities, and financial assistance. Every meal served and every family helped reinforced one truth—compassion can save lives, even when medicine cannot.
As the pandemic began to slow, the suffering did not. We saw a larger, ongoing crisis, the lack of affordable and humane healthcare. Medical treatment had become unreachable for many, with families forced to choose between health and survival. Determined to make a difference, we took our next step.
We established LMT SEVA Hospital in Gorakhpur, India, as a charity hospital offering basic life-support and essential medical care at minimal cost. For nearly two years, the hospital served patients who had nowhere else to go. For many, it was not just a hospital—it was hope.
Our dream has always been bigger: to make quality healthcare completely free for those who cannot afford it. I personally ran and funded the hospital for close to two years, but the challenges were immense. Financial strain and the difficulty of bringing skilled doctors to remote areas eventually forced us to pause operations.
This pause is not the end—it is a turning point.
Our goal now is to relocate the hospital to a city location, where doctors can commute more easily and patients can access care without barriers. To make this dream a reality, we need the strength of a community that believes healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Your support can help us reopen our hospital, reach more patients, and move closer to our dream of providing free, dignified healthcare to those in need.
By organizing these concerts and events, I aim to raise the funds needed to one day reopen the hospital in India.
If you feel called to be part of this mission—through financial support, partnership, or advocacy, Please reach out to us.
Message from the Founder
Shashi Tiwari
When I first started LMT SEVA, I didn’t know how I would sustain it. All I had was a belief that doing the right thing would somehow find its way forward.
During our food distribution drives, I watched people receive meals when they had nothing else. The gratitude in their eyes gave me strength when I felt exhausted and uncertain. It reminded me why I began—to serve, to heal, and to honor my father’s memory.
At the hospital, I met patients who shared painful stories of being overcharged, ignored, or turned away by other medical facilities. Helping them—treating them with dignity, listening to their fears, and seeing relief on their faces—gave me a sense of fulfillment that no personal achievement ever could.
LMT SEVA has taught me that true purpose lies in service. This initiative is my promise to continue fighting for those who are unheard and underserved.
With your support, compassion, and belief, we can rebuild, reopen, and one day offer healthcare that is not just affordable—but free. Together, we can turn loss into hope and compassion into lasting change.
Our Vision
To reopen LMT SEVA Hospital in India and build a world where compassion leads healthcare—where every person, regardless of financial means, is treated with dignity, care, and hope.
Our Mission
Born from personal loss and driven by service, our mission is to stand with those who have nowhere else to turn. Through community support, charitable initiatives, and purpose-driven events, we strive to reopen and sustain LMT SEVA Hospital, providing affordable—and ultimately free—healthcare to underserved communities.
